Do you use .tel domains?
I am a self-confessed domain name addict – I own 100+ domains, registered most of them a long time ago, with a view to sell some down the track. And I have.. some of these money paid for my recent trips overseas!
This domain www.poolfencing.tel, however, is the first .tel that I registered. I remember when .tel first came out: they were meant to create a “domain” directory online. Oh, yeah, I thought, as if we need another directory out there.
.tel domains are different to any other domains by a simple fact that you can’t host a website. Yes, that’s right, you can’t host your own website on a .tel domain. All information is stored in the registry and it’s only meant to contain basic contact info about you or your business.
Anyway, I just registered this .tel domain added some info, submitted it to the search engines and now waiting to see if it has any merit at all.
